The ratio should be around 180 gm of soda in about 4 liters of water. Another good DIY for keeping whites white is adding white vinegar when your washing machine is in the rinse cycle. These two methods are also good for removing bad odor from clothes. The best option is to switch to a detergent like Safed Detergent.
- If you have a high-efficiency washing machine, you need to select your detergent very carefully.
