Football and monsoons are a match made in heaven. However, similarly, the stains, mud, and stench on those football uniforms represent a nightmarish situation for the person responsible for laundry! Rightly then the enthusiastic kids are met with a less than favorable welcome upon their return after a rewarding football session in the rain. But, think about it – shouldn’t your kids have the freedom to enjoy their lives too? Shouldn’t we encourage them, to make soccer superstars of tomorrow? We anticipate your answers are in the affirmative. So, it is time to welcome your kids home with a smile and lots of encouragement. Especially, when you can always use Safed detergent to wash off those sticky stains; it is a bliss.

Coming back to the original matter of washing such football uniforms, there are various challenges confronting you. First of all, the uniforms are wet, they are smeared with mud and dirt, additionally, there is a strong stench caused by sweating. You would also find, upon inspection, some grass remnants clinging to the fabric. Now, the question you are confronted with is: what washing cycle to use in this situation.

The answer is: initially none! As soon as the kid returns, of course, spend some time cleaning up the child and drying him/her off. Once that is done, waste no further time and soak up the uniform in foamy water. You could use normal water, but for best results, we would suggest the use of lukewarm water along with the Safed detergent. Let the uniform soak for some time. After 30 minutes, take the uniform out and you would find most of the debris has dissipated. Now, it is time to use your hands and rub the surface with rapid hand movements. Rinse the remaining water.

Put the uniform out to dry. Make sure it is dried at least for some time in the sunshine to minimize the chances of mildew or bacteria formation. In most instances, you will get a clean uniform at the end of this procedure. However, there may be some instances when the mud has dried up and got sticky against the fabric. In such instances, you would want to run the uniform in the washing machine. Once the cleaning cycle is done, your uniform would be fresh and new-like.

Having said that, you should always use the best detergents to clean such uniforms. Resorting to inferior detergents would be a sort of compromise with the hygiene of your kids. Because the last thing you want is for them to pick up some skin disease because the uniform was not sufficiently clean. Safed detergent with its power bullets is the best stain cleaning formula for such laundry needs. Additionally, the product also comes with a sweet fragrance. This means your kid not only wears the best-maintained uniforms but also smells great.

So, this monsoon, encourage your kids to enjoy the rains and their favorite past-time, aka football. And when they return, you know there is nothing to worry about because you always have Safed detergent to provide the best cleaning possible.
