White colored clothes become a fashion fad during the summer months and for all the logical reasons too! When the Celsius scale gets unbearable, every professional either take refuge in the white clothes so long sitting idle within the wardrobe. A white shirt or a white top feels so relaxing when you have to dare the heat and visit your office. However, there are also hassles of wearing white. White is the most stain-prone color when it comes to clothes. And if you sweat (which is obvious during the humid Indian summers), then you will find sweat and dirt stains quickly turning your bright white clothes into something really unappealing and dull.

And yes, when you wash the sweat-stained white clothes with new Safed detergent, shortly after you see the stain, you might get great results. But we want to deliver you 100% clean clothes every time. So, in this instance, we would need a bit of help from you. Some simple actions on your part can be a lifesaver for your favorite white clothes.

Let us confide in you…

Hush… Let us tell you a secret! The yellow marks that you see on your favorite white clothes, contrary to the popular belief, are not caused by sweat. Sweat has just been framed as a culprit in this instance. Those stains are rather caused by aluminum-based deodorant or chemical laden perfumes. Deodorant or perfume, whichever you may wear, reacts with the sweat to create a yellowish stain.

What to do after spotting the stain?

Okay, so sweat stains are not caused by sweat. While that is good to know, it still does not talk about the course of action. For, we have kept it for the last:

  • First of all, if you care about white clothes, you should spring into action as soon as you spot a stain. Do not leave it for later, or it gets difficult to even for a detergent powder as strong as Safed to remove the stains.
  • What actions to take – you ask. Well, you can spot treat the affected area with two spoons of Vinegar and water. If Vinegar is unavailable, try squeezing some lemon juice and rub it on the affected area.
  • Do not try bleach in such instances, as bleaching has an opposite reaction upon such stains.

Follow these simple steps and continue to wear white with pride!
